So I'm sure most have heard by now that Adam Yauch (a.k.a. MCA) of the world-famous trio of rapping Jews from New York (a.k.a. the Beastie Boys) has a cancerous tumor in his left salivary gland. I have good news and bad news...The good news is that it is neither life-threatening nor will it affect his vocal chords, meaning we will be enjoying the Boys for as long as they keep putting out music. The bad news is all upcoming appearances and the release of their 8th album, entitled Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 1, have been postponed until further notice.
In honor of the Boys, I have concocted a playlist of my all-time top ten Beastie Boys songs. Yeah, no one's dying or dead, but do you really need any more of an excuse to listen to the catchiest white rappers of all time?
